Looks like Blackpool have been 'analysing' our players...

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

My thoughts to ... & I guess why the linesman (I have no truck with 'referee's assistant') flagged.

You don't need to take a Brian Clough interpretation of 'interfering with play' to view this as such.

Almost like the ref admired the shot and wanted to give a goal (& it was a good shot).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

It was. Then Blackpool protested and the ref went to the linesman. Then it was given. Then we protested to the linesman and the ref.

And it was still given.

All we're asking for is consistency from the officials and so on......
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

When Chopra came on at the weekend, my mate made the observation that his arms are longer than his legs.

He's got long arms at the bookie's counter, but short ones at the payin out window.

Brilliant, cheers a1. I'd forgotten all about that. When I think back to that match my main memory is missing the only goal (Jules!) 'cos I pegged it round from the Paddock to the ticket office to get the tix for the away leg, which for some bizarre reason went on sale 15 minutes before the final whistle. And then the jobsworth on the gate wouldn't let me back in, so I snuck into the Burnden Stand for the only time in my life...
