FFS did I make any comment on the 3 match selection policy or Dfs alleged use of it, my comment was about corroborating evidence to its veracity. 18 months isn't instant, and while we do have less money than we once did, we still have more money than most of the division. The wage bill was north of £30m in June and I'm struggling to see how that could've gone down in any significant way.thebish wrote:we are where we are... bottom line is we're never going to get anywhere if we expect instant results, and some people need to give their heads a collective shake. We have less money now, we have less pulling power, we have less of a lot of things. Blame Coyle if you wish, it was that way regardless, but its no use expecting miracles from Dougie. He'll probably have to do it the Allardyce way, and grind us out of the division.
It does not take a footballing miracle to guide a side who'd just dropped out of the Premier League, with a big wage bill and enough cash to go out and spend £3m on one player, to be higher than 18th in the Championship.
I'm willing to bet that the list of managers who have come in and been an instant success at a club is considerably longer than the list of managers who have come in, been shite for two years and then suddenly had it all click into place.

Freedman has not been a success. It's very unlikely he will become one. Time IS running out to do anything about it...

Thanks for the reminder dibble.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Freedman out!
Going by whats been previously said on here about DF team selection i.e he tells players when they'll be playing and for how long, i found this article quite interesting and full of Freedmanisms........
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11672/9141788/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
especially the quote......
"I can't guarantee anybody that they'll play next week, that's not my style, you've got to fight for your position. Everybody's under the same sort of mindset."

That's within two weeks of him saying " ... I will give my strikers a 6 game run". Then plays ... & sells N'Gog one game later, followed by playing ... & loaning out Cravies, one game later.gavlat2872 wrote:especially the quote......

Pointing out that he's all piss & wind seems to upset some people but ffs. The only consistent thing about the dickwad is that he's never consistent.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

but if you ignore the verbage he is consistent as he did very similar pre-season - perhaps team selection during transfer windows is simply used as a shop window - perhaps he really wants to keep mears

Reminds we of when Liam(Gallagher) said "the world are all mon*s man" and Noel came back with the exact same phrase you did their Enoch.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
