I read all the quotes expecting it to be a wrong decision but having watched it several times I think he did it on purpose. How can you think it's a shocking call but that he did it on purpose Clapton.
It's one of those where you have to decide if you believe there is intent Pru, and think there was, can also see why others would say not. First glance it looked like nothing so I'm surprised it was given.

Flores has hold of him round the neck, Carroll's fairly understandable reaction is to try to get him off, he has a shove at him as they untangle and then accidentally catches him as he spins. I think the arm comes round further than it needs to that's all, 3 matches would be ahrsh though. Floes has tweeted a gif proving his innocence of acting, entitled 'For those who say that me has failed'!

Well, the panel agreed that there was "no obvious error by the referee" and so the card stands.

Rightly in my view ... though Flores should be pilloried for his over-reaction whether or not.
