Yeah that's definitely possible. Though I'm not sure you're particularly likely to come across them in the Welsh hills either though tbfbobo the clown wrote:It wasn't to PREVENT it, but to make it unnecessary. To actively encourage people who didn't want to integrate.
I'm highly delighted if the reality is that most are not operating that way, but it may just be that in professional offices you aren't meeting the ones that are failing to integrate. Just a thought.

I've no doubt there are some muslims out there with hardline views who have failed to integrate. I haven't spent much time with many of them, but maybe that's because there aren't very many of them! I think they're a ludicrously small proportion, who get a massively disproportionate amount of press. They're this issue's benefit cheats. I'm met a lot of muslims, some through work, some through uni, some through playing football, some through coaching football, and I've never met a single one I thought had 'failed to integrate'. Some were more integrated than others, but I've never met anyone who fits the aggressive resentful hateful of the infidel stereotype. They may exist, but there aren't many of them. They're just normal people, some are outgoing, some are annoying, some are arses, who just have some different customs. It's all fine. The ones who don't drink at our gaffe ask us what it's like and why we do it when we are always whinging about being hungover

Will do a straw poll tomorrow to see what their views on the stun vs non-stun are.

I live on the flat bits, sonny-boy. The bits which are really English& I have NO intention of integrating.
Take a trip round Bolton centre these days and it's vastly different than I recall it.
Anyway, as Worthy rightly points out I DO try to avoid the politics bits. Basically coz everyone else is such an arse and fails to agree with me.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You've clearly failed to integrate in the last 50 years. I blame Alex Douglas Home's 1964 government.bobo the clown wrote:I live on the flat bits, sonny-boy. The bits which are really English& I have NO intention of integrating.

I think you'll find that it IS religion, it just doesn't suit your version of it.TANGODANCER wrote:God wouldn't insist that primitive rules and customs from times B.C would be observed three thousand years later in the same barbaric way they were in the time of the Old Testament (if he ever intended that in the first place anyway) . Yes. That's why I made that very remark. In October.
But Wilson was useless, nonetheless. Living proof that you shouldn't let 'socialists' have the keys to the safe.

And it's agreed that Socialists shouldn't have the keys to the safe, unlike the Capitalist bankers, who put lots of toxic assets into the safe making it appear really full.

I withdraw. He was a fine man and the model of fiscal control.

I didn't suggest that he was a model of fiscal control, just pointing out that actually stupidity manages to span more than political inclinations.

Do they not have a website in your gaff? We get to do this annually, but they just launch it on the intranet. The threshold's for what you can and can't do, are getting very small. At this rate. we're going to have to invest in brown paper envelopes.Bruce Rioja wrote:FCPA Compliance Training this afternoon. So that's basically don't go around bribing people then? Yes, of course, but we're not hooked-up to the Yanks intranet yet. To be fair it's all as much a meet and greet in these early stages, but ultimately no-one having an opportunity to say 'I didn't know that' as an excuse for owt.Worthy4England wrote:Do they not have a website in your gaff? Exactly that Bruce. So, when someone is accused of breaking one of the ethical codes the employeewon't be able to say they didn't know about it. Simple as that.

I knew that bit, I'm often involved in our Merger and Acquisitions n stuff. Not sure I'd send 3 people, 3,000 miles just to do that bit though. They'd be doing a few other things too.
