Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Last season we received several thrashing from top sides, if we can avoid that this season I think we will be there or thereabouts, injuries and who Wenger buys dependant! I know it was pre-season but we beat City 3-0 in the Shield. Promising start.
We could have beat City in the shield! Boyata was playing FFS ;)

I know they had a weakened team but so did we. 3 world cup winners out!

Can't say I'm an ardent fan of his!

Anyway, this popped up on my Facebook this morning, Chris, Pru.

Source - sportskeeda who I have never heard of before but they have 1.2 mil likes on fb so I'm guessing they are fairly legit.

Firstly, it has absolutely no information as to how and when it was collated, but more importantly it's spectacularly selectively edited! I note it has 'shooting accuracy' but not 'goals'. I wonder why that is? It also has 'chances created per 90 mins' whatever 'chances' are, but not 'assists'. Ozil is v high up in assists, but so is Fabregas.

In any case, it's not really the comparison with Ozil that counts. You aren't going to win anything with only one top class player. No-one was suggesting you get rid of Ozil to sign Fabregas! I bet you can't find one of those for Arteta, or Flamini, or Walcott, or Wilshere :D

I would have binned Cazorla for Fabregas.

Good player but doesn't turn up when it matters in big games.

Turning into a right spanking.
Liverpool should have had at least one. Conclusions will be drawn!

Dirty Leeds looking like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. New manager for Saturday?

Just watching Ludogorets Vs Steaua Bucharest penalties. The Lud keeper was sent off so a defender is in goal. He scored the first pen then saved one.
And he's saved another to win it sudden death! What a star. :pissed:
