I imagine we've asked Lonners to sit tight for a week or so, but saying that - It's Bolton Wanderers - We're not famed for our decision making ability!

Glad to see that Quade Taylor's signed a one year extension to his contract, although I've no idea as to when his existing deal runs to. Was really impressed with him in the Brum game.

That's because Diggie gave him a 3 year contract and I doubt we're in a position to pay it off to release him. Same with Dervitte & Moxey. Freedman's standard 3 Year Deal for anyone coming in on a Bosman.

Won't lose sleep over any of those players leaving. Shame for Craig Davies as on his day he can be a handful, but those days are too few and far between for it to be considered a long-term plan. Mills was offered a contract, no? If so he can get to feck and go where the money is greener.

Do you think Spearing had an attitude problem?

Personally, I've always liked Spearing and I think a combative midfield duo of Spearing and Vela could work well next season, allowing Mavies or Clough - or even Pratley - to get forward and hurt the opposition.

Matt Mills, Craig Davies, Andrew Lonergan, Jermaine Beckford and Keith Andrews will officially depart Macron Stadium at the end of June, whilst Chris Lester, Georg Iliev, Luke Woodland, Glenn Matthews, Ryan Sellers, James Ball, Carl Kennedy and Kieran Nolan will also leave.

No argument from me on Mills, Beckford and Andrews. Cravies decision makes sense considering we've got Clough, we want to resign the two OAPs and are clearly chasing AN Other. Lonners is unlucky but understandable. Shame some of the kids didn't make it - notably Lester, Iliev and Woodland – but we have to presume the decision was footballing rather than financial and that the Development heads know what they're doing.

Andrews and Mills presumably hoping Owen Coyle's got a generous chairman.

Andrews is talking about coaching at MK Dons. Helping out Karl Robinson with his greater experience, arf.

so - without additions - we're still building our defense around Ream, Dervite, Moxey, Wheater... and then Taylor and Threlkeld have shiny new contracts... and there's Hayden White... given that Lennon says he will spend most of what he has to spend prioritising a 20-goal a season striker - we might need some decent freebie/loan reinforcement there... edit: oh - yeah - and Janko!

Janko's loan's up this summer. We've been strongly linked with Rotherham's centre-back skipper, whose name I forget and can't be arsed looking up (see the BN passim).

He's not out of contract. This is the official announcement of the players we intend to retain (offer new contracts to) and those we don't, in accordance with the rule rejig kicked off by George Eastham in 1961. Getting rid of those who are contractually bound to the club will take more time (and a lot more money).

I'm hoping that Lennon will sit down with him and sort his attitude out, or decide to move him on for a fee. There's a good player in him, at this level at least, as we saw in his initial loan. I'm also hoping that Baptiste will come in to replace Mills at centre half, but he seems quite set on leaving.

As a side note how many players have we signed with an attitude problem and lack of commitment recently? Sordell, Hall, Mills, Spearing to name a few? Worrying trend.

Thought Lennon had said Mills had been offered a new contract. Mills apprently said he hadn't and a couple of weeks later he's on his way. Now whether he had but rejected out of hand - who knows. Suppose NL did say he wouldn't wait around

Lennon says we are in takeover talks and within a day or so the club say we aren't.

Well aware situations and opinions change but don't think these kind of things are a good sign.

Medo Kamara scored his first goal since joining Israeli side Maccabi Haifa on loan on Saturday.
