Of course there's no accounting for the average Jock's lack of understanding when it comes to the English language, they will always beg to differ.

Why the fcuk do turnips need wrapping individually in plastic?
Which reminds me to be angry about a supermarket here that buys lettuce from Spain, that gets flown to Holland to get a plastic bag and then flown to Dubai. Utter madness, no wonder the planet is fcuked

But to answer your first queation - so that Enoch can show me a picture of neeps and swedes looking exactly the same as each other, although obviously they aren't coz one's a swede and the other's a neep.

Re: General Chit Chat
Of course I know the answer, the problem lies in the fact that there is more than one answer. But I quite clearly stated whose viewpoint I was delivering the Great Neep Conundrum from, which was your stereotypical Scotsman. So yes I'll wear the McSpot tartan and tell you quite plainly that a neep ain't a swede.thebish wrote:anyone who claims to know the answer or is an any way adamant about it in an argument IS a turnip. yes - looking at you McSpot...

I think something got lost in the translation... Tippen Sie auf die Kuh. Tue es jetzt. (it's some going when German sounds less abrasive than English)thebish wrote:childrens' books are adopting an altogether more disturbing tone nowadays...
